Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

We have been busy like the bumblebee. I promise to put a new post in soon, but for right now, just know that we love you, our dear friends and family, and promise to write again soon.

What a hoot...

Things Thomas had learned to do in the last (nearly) five months...

Resemble his namesake (middle anyway), Grandpa John...

Tell us exactly what he thinks...

Drool profusely to prepare for growing teeth...

Giggle ...

Be a Hoot (Thanks Aliyah, for the great owl onesie)

We are enjoying him immensely!

Until next time...

The power of positive thinking

Late in December, Adam had a bunch of dollars saved up. He kept them in his little piggy bank that he keeps in his room. We had some friends over, and their little girl decided it would be fun to play with Adam's "monies." We haven't been able to locate the paper monies since that day. We know she didn't take them - she' only three and she had no pockets. So today, Adam expressed to Michael that he was never going to be able to buy a new video game since he was never going to find his monies. Frankie tried to help her brother "Adam, you have to think positively!" "Frankie," he said "I'm POSITIVE I'll never find my monies."

What's for dinner? Suprisingly enough, food!

So, Christmas was great, we were rushed and blessed and we didn't take any pictures. On to the new year.

In order to save money, I've adopted my friend Dari's dinner calendar idea. Also, as my dear friend Kirsten does, I've decided to post it on my blog in case anybody's stumped for ideas.

I know some of you might be under the (very) false impression that because I'm a chef, we have these amazing dinners every night. But, c'mon people -- I live in the real world. As much as I wish we could dine on fine cuisine every night, I have kids (they come with homework and activities and an inordinate amount of laundry)! I definitely don't have time to make an elaborate dinner each night (let alone afford it and clean up from it). I offer my very normal and boring dinner calendar for your perusal. Enjoy, and feel free to call or email if you want recipes!
